Riverbank was inspired by a moment of prayer and a simple act of obedience. At the river, I observed water flowing steadily in one direction while the wind pushed against it from another.

This tension became a metaphor for faith: though the winds of life may disrupt the surface, God’s plan continues beneath it—strong, steady, and unmoved. The piece reflects the peace found in trusting a God who cannot be overpowered. 

Ephesians 4:14-15, “Then we will no longer be infants, tossed back and forth by the waves, and blown here and there by every wind of teaching and by the cunning and craftiness of people in their deceitful scheming. Instead, speaking the truth in love, we will grow to become in every respect the mature body of him who is the head, that is, Christ.”
