Alley Project

This was a large-scale collaborative mural project undertaken in partnership with Modern Day Me, the Downtown Improvement District, and artists Guillermo Valdez and Kasey Robinson.

Spanning 13,000 square feet, the murals fully transformed an underutilized alleyway located behind the Fair Arts School in downtown Minneapolis. The primary objectives of the project were to revitalize the space, increase foot traffic, strengthen community engagement, and reduce crime rates through artistic intervention and community activation.

Since its completion, the alley has evolved into a vibrant community hub that now hosts multiple public events annually and has experienced a significant reduction in crime.
